Jadrija is where Šibenik goes to swim: a pine-shaded peninsula at the mouth of St Anthony's Channel, with a wide beach and a row of 1920s bathing cabins. Our family has two holiday homes here, and Dino looks after every guest himself.
Two homes, one quiet street
Dolphin and Villa Marco Polo are two doors apart on the same lane, with one house between them. Together they sleep fifteen, so a large family or two groups of friends can take both and still have their own space.

- The sea is a two-minute walk. Out of the gate, down the lane, and you are in the water.
- It is quiet. Jadrija is a residential peninsula with a beach, not a resort. The cafés and the crowd are at the far end by the pier, if you want them.
- Šibenik is on the doorstep. A UNESCO cathedral, four fortresses and a medieval old town, about 14 km by road or a short boat ride across the channel in summer.
- Two national parks in a day trip. Krka's waterfalls are inland, the Kornati islands are offshore.

Getting here
Split and Zadar airports are both about an hour's drive. Šibenik has coach connections from Zagreb, Split and Zadar, and from the bus station it is a short taxi ride to Jadrija. In summer a small passenger boat runs from the Šibenik waterfront to Jadrija pier.
